Miracle MorningThis book was recommended to me from my Health Coach, 'this book completely changed my life' he said. At the time I felt completely unmotivated in life and fatigued and I grabbed at the chance to get myself out of my lazy funk. The Miracle Morning is easy to read and explains very succinctly that the power to change your life lies dormant in your hands every morning. I was kicking myself after reading this morning ritual, as I have known how to empower myself this entire time. Hal was the perfect voice to kick my engine into gear and to begin my empowered lifestyle.

Fight Like a GirlFight like a Girl came to me highly recommended by a close friend of mine. At first I was apprehensive to dive into a feminist literature, as I am sure most women are, however my fears and doubts were quickly soothed and explained within the first chapters.
Clementine Ford is a courageous individual and woman, whom writes with her heart and her unobstructed personality. Her writing captures you with her wit and playfully evil humour that deep down you know all to well and there is not a moment where you do not feel safe, loved and empowered to the cause of being a woman. |
Warrior Goddess Training'Become the woman you are meant to be' were the words that first enticed me to read this magnificently written and loving book by Heatherash Amara.
This book is very descriptive yet such an easy read, that I struggled to put it down in the wee hours of the morning. You truly feel as if you are being guided by a wise goddess; suddenly you don't feel crazy or irrational as a woman and everything you do just makes sense. Heatherash urges her readers to have compassion and forgiveness for themselves and to take the plunge and as the first chapter is called: COMMIT TO YOU. |
Girl CodeCara Alwill Leyba, the author of GIRL CODE and The Champagne Diet, is an idol of mine; she is a sassy, compassionate and a beautifully authentic woman who has also happened to have paved her own path into the business world.
What really drew me into this book was the 'secret: insecurity competes, confidence empowers'. After reading this I knew that this woman was the real deal and that she was on a mission to speak her truth and spread the word to women all over the world that the world has plenty for all of us. Her strongest message in this book for me, is that the way for women is no longer in jealousy or competing with one another; instead, it is a message of coming together and loving one another, for exactly who we are, as we are. http://caraalwill.com/ |
